| Warning: Watch Out for "Phishing E-mails Targeting Philippine National Bank Users"

Dear Customers,
Recently, we received an inquiry from our remitter registered to our Nagoya Sub-Branch regarding an e-mail message with subject PNB Alert: Security Update.
“Dear Customer,
Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation, the stock broking arm of the Philippine National Bank today announced the implementation of Insurance Identity Guard for its customers. Please click on the link below to activate your on-line banking access for the new security update.”
Please be informed that Philippine National Bank has nothing to do with above e-mail and NEVER sends such e-mails that directly asks to provide your personal information such as your account number and PIN or that instructs you to click on a web link to a site where you are requested to provide such information. If you receive such an e-mail, DO NOT access the URL offered in the e-mail message.
If you receive a suspicious e-mail, DO NOT follow the instructions in the message but DELETE the e-mail immediately.
If by accident you have provided your personal information in response to a phishing e-mail , please contact Philippine National Bank, Tokyo Branch at 0120-866-382 or 03-5401-3300 immediately.
